Theory
Chords from this scale
Built by stacking alternate scale notes. Lower-case = minor; ° = diminished; + = augmented. Guitar diagrams use standard tuning, low E on the left. ○ = open; × = muted. Fingers: 1 index, 2 middle, 3 ring, 4 little.
Compare scales on the same tonic. These are different pitch collections, so they do not all contain the same notes.
Interval trainer
Recognize the distance between two pitches. Start with examples, practice a chosen interval, then test your ear.
↑ ascending · ↓ descending · Together = both notes at once. Examples start on C4. The tritone can be spelled as an augmented fourth or diminished fifth; your ear hears the same distance in equal temperament.
Listen, sing the distance, then play it again to compare.
